Currently we are seeking manuscripts from and about Central, Eastern, and Southeastern Europe. Our aim is to bring the historical, political, cultural, ideological etc. issues of our region close to any interested, non-specialized reader. We are particularly interested in hybrid, unconventional, even radical, publications that want to shape and define new ways of thinking, communicating about old topics.

We are aiming to focus on the human aspect of the large-scale political and historical events and trends. The  minority cultures of our region represent a significant area of our publishing program. Small and oral histories, memoirs and picture books—a few genres CEEOL Publishing is interested in.

CEEOL Press is an ebook publisher with Print-on-Demand option for each title. Our books are available through ceeol.com, which delivers content to institutions and individuals world-wide (to about 4 million users). We also sell our titles through major online ebook retailers (e.g., amazon.com, bookdepository.com etc.).
