Kinga Júlia Király is a writer, literary translator, and playwright. She graduated in dramaturgy from the University of Arts in her hometown (Marosvásárhely/Târgu Mureș). She is a translator and interpreter of Italian literature. She has published several volumes of dramas, novels, and short stories. Her latest novel, Apa Szarajevóba ment [Daddy's gone to Sarajevo] was published in 2017 by Kalligram. The Hungarian edition of Recipes for a New Beginning was published by Mentor Könyvek in 2018.
