CEEOL Press was established in 2020 by building on the intellectual strength and the 20-year history of Central and Eastern European Online Library, a leading provider of academic e-journals and e-books in the Humanities and Social Sciences from and about Central and Eastern Europe.

We publish books on and from the region for the educated reading public. We would also like to help authors of our region to find interested publishers in other languages to have their books available and visible outside their countries of origin.

CEEOL Press also offers partnership for academic publishers as well as authors in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe who seek global recognition and distribution for their titles. We can provide them with well-established library connections, a global distribution network, marketing and sales channels. All CEEOL Press books are immediately entered into the CEEOL database and as such become available to the subscribing libraries and individuals throughout the world. We operate by standards common in academic publishing including peer review.
